ACOS series — immersion oil chiller

An immersion oil chiller is an industrial cooling device that works by placing the evaporator (cooling coil) directly within an oil tank or coolant reservoir. Unlike traditional oil coolers, it typically does not have a circulation pump. Instead, it relies on the existing fluid flow within the tank or an optional agitator to maintain a uniform liquid temperature, making it ideal for cooling coolants, hydraulic fluids, lubricants, and high-viscosity industrial fluids.

TOBEL immersion oil chiller provides direct, in-tank temperature control for cutting fluids, hydraulic oil, and lubricating oil across a wide range of machine tools, including machining centers, grinders, broaching machines, grinding machines, WEDM, EDM machine tools, cooling systems, hydraulic systems, and lubrication systems. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel evaporator coil submerges directly into the fluid, rapidly extracting heat without dilution or contamination, ensuring temperature stability to prevent thermal expansion and maintain machining accuracy.

    Feature

    • Evaporating coils are made from stainless steel or copper with coating surface, which are suitable for various fluids.
    • The design of open coil type heat exchanger eliminates the obstruction problem of liquid circulating system.
    • Immersion cooling prevents the spreading of undesirable gas and reduces the air pollution.
    • Made of anti-corrosive material
    • Directly installing on liquid tanks can avoid the impact from impurities , oil sludge , metal filings,contributing to the maintenance work

    Matters needing attention

    • Immersion depth as close to tank depth as possible
    • Refluxing high temperature liquids pass through the cooling coil first to exchange heat
    • Considering the change of liquid level before and after the operation of the equipment
    • Ensure smooth air inlet and outlet
